Water purification systems were installed in 2012 at St. Louis High School. Since then student health has improved. 90% of teachers reported that the students can concentrate better. Attendance has also increased at the school because of the purified water; students are missing less school due to water-borne diseases and illnesses.
St. Therese Montessori School was the first school Tek4Kids partnered with to provide clean water in 2011. The purified water serves more than 345 students from preschool through fifth grade.
